might be humbled; you might surprise yourself. And the smartest
person in the room may not be the one you expect.
This event seeks to question the 'rules' around wine tasting whilst
creating an enjoyable environment to flex your tasting skills. Or,
simply enjoy some new wines in good company. Offering something
for everyone, from novice to expert; take part as an individual,
couple, or small group. No strict competition here, but spot prizes

Our Head of Wine, Freddie Taylor, will guide you through a decadent tasting of
premium wines from our Lay & Wheeler Wine Cellar with as much wine-speak as is

Freddie's approach is enjoyment driven, with a strictly no-stuffiness attitude. Feel
free to pick his brains or simply relax in the company of some of the world’s finest

Croquet Sessions
This popular quintessentially British outdoor lawn game is seemingly
genteel but in fact very engaging and tactical.
This activity can be enjoyed by all ages and acts as a wonderful pre-
